Chrissy Teigen’s Emotional Response to Comedian Heather McDonald

Chrissy Teigen has hit back at comedian Heather McDonald for criticizing her post about perfection on one year anniversary of losing son Maybe I’m a little sensitive today. The pair have been feuding for years, with Chrissy responding to the comedienne’s tweets in the past. This time, she addressed Heather’s criticism head-on by sharing an emotional response to her Instagram story.

Chrissy’s post came in response to the viral clip she shared on Sunday, which showed her husband John legend feeding their daughter Luna. The little girl had spoonfuls of ice cream in the shape of a heart in her mouth when John stopped mid-way because she was making too many yucky faces. Chrissy jumped in with a joke when her daughter lifted up the spoon to show her dad that it was empty. ‘It’s like Valentine’s Day in November!’ she joked, adding .You know how much I love ice cream Happy Monday!’

Heather McDonald is a comedian and actress best known for her five-season run as a featured player on the Fox sketch comedy series Mad TV from 2000 to 2001. In 2008, she began hosting her own talk show titled The Heather McDonald Show. In 2015, she wrote an article about Chrissy’s post in which she questioned why on one-year anniversary of her son’s death, Chrissy would share an Instagram post about ice cream.

‘Happy Monday! thought it was so cute when you posted on social media yesterday about how much you love ice cream, wrote Heather. She added You’re all like happymonday and had a banana with chocolate. I’m like yeah, that’s great! My son died one year ago today, but ice cream makes me happy!

Chrissy decided to respond back by sharing an emotional response to Heather’s criticism on her Instagram story.

Why do I post about my family? Why does anyone? Is it required? Is it supposed to make people feel better about themselves? I’m not trying to get validation or sympathy or attention. I’ve been keeping this private for so many reasons and even with the support of John, Luna’s grandparents and friends, it still makes me sad and angry, she wrote. But our family is amazing and we hope that you can see that.

‘Our love is powerful and stronger than your criticism, judgment, and comments about perfection. I am okay with my flaws. They are what makes me human, she concluded her post. I am not perfect but I’m also not the problem.
